Beyeonics Vision is a medical technology company located in Haifa, Israel. Beyeonics Vision develops Beyeonics One, a cutting-edge digital microscope for ophthalmic surgeries, integrating advanced AR/VR technologies, infrared (IR) illumination, and high-resolution imaging.
We are currently seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join our innovative team.
Job Responsibilities:
- NPI implementation (Design for manufacturability, test, cost, serviceability etc.) to insure Risks are mitigated at the Design level , working with R&D and manufacturing from initial production process planning stages, to the manufacturing of prototypes and initial production of First serial production.
- Writing work procedures and instructions, training certifying and technically guiding the Production team.
- ECO process, Implement ECO's post design freeze leading to and through full scale-production.
- Preparing Product Specifications and technical documentation.
- Troubleshooting manufacturing problems (NCR / MRB), investigating production failures and perform root causes analysis.
- Responsible for technological equipment on the production floor
- Develop production processes, Design, qualify, document and validate: assembly & test fixtures/Jigs and tools
- Configuration management: Datasets setup, BOM creation DEG update and Component Engineering.
- Technical POC for subcontractors (electronics, plastics and metals)
- Cost reduction and production streamlining.
- Perform Other operations related tasks from time to time as directed.
Requirements:
- Engineering or similar technical background
- 5+ years of experience in transfer from development to production, Hands on engineering experience in manufacturing engineering , PCBA, Device assembly and mechanical components (Machined parts , plastic mold injections, casting.)
- 2+ years of experience in design Engineering & manufacturing environments of multi-disciplinary products in Medical Device
- Experience with process optimization/improvement, lean manufacturing, 5S, Root cause analysis & CAPA.
- Experience with Solidworks and ERP, PLM (Priority is an advantage )
